Winter Music Festival: David Rocha Jazz

Dave Rocha Jazz plays an eclectic mix of modern jazz compositions, drawing from over three hundred tunes in our library. This includes bossa nova, swing, jazz rock, Latin, jazz waltz, ballads and blues. In addition to doing our arrangements on the melodies, we all take individual solos on the specific chord changes that each melody is based on. Dave Rocha Jazz solos aren’t written out or memorized. They are all improvised spontaneously which makes jazz such a unique art form.
